A Thanksgiving Reminder

As you guys know, we've been focusing on being thankful for the last few weeks and this week is no exception! As we approach the end of November, don't let this be the only month that you focus on giving thanks - instead, let's do all that we can to make thanksgiving a habit we do every day!

In the spirit of the holiday, I want to leave you with a little poem, compliments of Shonta Alexander:

Thanksgiving Day is that special time of year;
That you give praise and thanks to the things you hold so dear.
Thank you for forgiving us for each and every sin.
Thank you for our parents, our family and our friends.
Thank you for the food and the talk around the table;
Thank you for the ones who are here and the one's who weren't so able.
Thank you for the memories we cherished throughout the year.
Thank you for the struggle that it took to get us here.
Thank you for our coming in as well as our going out.
Thanking you I thought, my friend, was what it's all about.
So, thank you for the dead as well as the living.
Thank you for this holiday; truly a season of giving!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

With all that said let the church say amen…and AMEN!
